We’ve been busy installing baseboards and trim around here over the last few days, and there is something so satisfying about finishing those details! REVEAL! It’s out there! 😬 . It’s one thing to share your own home but then another to share your work! This was a big leap into knowing I’m doing something that I truly love and care about though….creating a space that someone loves to come home to everyday. . . Throughout the install, I was a sweaty mess at more times than I’d like to admit!🤪 So, it’s safe to say, I put in a lot of sweat equity into this project and I’ve realized that love a good deadline! Anybody else that way? Do you thrive on a time crunch or does it freak you out? For me, in my procrastinating ways, I neeeed that deadline to excite me and push me! That’s why it’s different when it’s your own home versus the home of someone else. When it’s your own home, it’s so gradual and things evolve over time, you catch yourself thinking, “that project can be done next weekend”. This got me to think big picture before executing. There isn’t time to procrastinate in this scenario, and that’s the kind of challenge I need. We went for modern/bohemian/southwest vibes for this fun client….what do you think?! . Currently covered in sweat and out of breath from pulling up the carpet in my son’s room on a whim. Why is it that whenever I‘m working on a big project, I almost always start on a secondary, less important one? 😅 I’m at a point with my kitchen where there’s not a whole lot I can do because I’m waiting on some things to be shipped, so it’s like I start on something new to have somewhere to channel my stress over not being able to work on the more important project. Happy Saturday! You guys! I'm SUPER excited to finally be able to show you our new sectional from @article ..#ad We have had the #SvenSofa for about a month now and I can honestly say it's as dreamy + comfy as it looks!
